CAUTION: Always lower Kwiklift onto rear legs very slowly.
Maximum weight capacity - Never exceed capacity specified for your model Kwiklift.
CAUTION: Use only on flat, level surface. Use Kwiklift only on concrete or hardened asphalt. Never use on dirt, gravel, grass, or any other soft surface.
Always drive on and off Kwiklift at very slow speed with additional person watching and directing. Always stop 2-3 inches from front leg safety stop. Never drive tires into front leg safety stop.
Always adjust width of Kwiklift so that at least 1 inch of lift tube extends beyond outside edge of either ramp.
| STEP 1 -
Layout Kwiklift in this format (figure 1) with ramps open side up. STEP 2 - Slide upper and lower ramps together 15 inches, install 4 bolts, 8 washers, and 4 nuts per side. Tighten. STEP 3 - Flip ramps over. (Open side down) Make sure spring loaded rear leg pins are on outside of each ramp. STEP 4 - Slide ramps (now bolted together and open side down) over lift tube until at least 1 inch of lift tube extends beyond opposite side of each ramp (figure 2). Application of Lithium grease will allow easy rotation of lift tube inside ramp tube. STEP 5 - Lift one ramp at front, position front legs so that ramp rests on support shelves (figure 3). Repeat for other side. Insert 22 inch long rod through front leg and ramp, secure with cotter pin. Repeat for other side. |
