KWIKLIFT

The Ultimate Fan Letter!

Dear Staff, Owners and All Employees,

I am a person that does not even write family members, but my recent experience prompted me to share an incredible incident involving my KWIKLIFT.

I have been a car builder for over forty years and have used all kinds of lifts: hydraulic, electric, and stationary. In 2000 at the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville KY, a friend of mine and myself came across your display. I was so impressed with it I could not quit talking about it. At that point in time I had a year old auto-lifter two-post lift in my shop. While at your display, my friend and I decided to strike up a deal, he bought me a KWIKLIFT and I traded him my auto-lifter. At that time I had recently decided to retire and planned to move from Wyoming, where I was from, to California to enjoy the sunshine. I used my new KWIKLIFT in Wyoming for about a year. My family and I moved to California taking the KWIKLIFT with us.

After our move I set up the KWIKLIFT in the garage and put my pride and joy on it, my 31 Model A. This is where the story begins. On July 5, 2003 at 8:00am, an elderly man lost control of his vehicle, sending it at full throttle at approximately 50 mph, into my driveway. After hitting my son's body-dropped S-10, the vehicle went through the garage door into my KWIKLIFT with the Hot Rod on it. The lift absorbed most of the impact. It was pushed sideways into three rollaway toolboxes pushing everything into the wall of the garage until the vehicle couldn't push anymore. With the tires still burning out at full throttle, the lift was also pushed approximate 5 feet forward impacting my washing machine.

Total damage to my property including damage to vehicles, tools, fence, garage, etc. exceeded $20,000. My Hot Rod, thanks to the quality of your KWIKLIFT, sustained less than $500 worth of damage. The lift only has minor scratches and a rubber burnout mark on it -- no real damage. I have enclosed before and after photos.

Will I ever have anything but a KWIKLIFT? NO WAY!

GREAT JOB! Thank you.
